CSA MUCH History

CSA of MUCH (Catholic Student Association of Masterskill University College of Health Sciences) was formed and officiated on September 4th 2006 as the initiative from Rev. Fr. Valentine Gompok OFM Capuccin to reaffirm MUCH's students' faith especially those originating from Sabah and Sarawak.  The gathering place for CSA is usually at St. Francis of Assisi Church apart from Masterskill University's Main Campus in Cheras.

CSA has organized many activities since its formation.  Among others are Holy Mass Choir in Bahasa Malaysia, Group Prayer, Rosary Prayer, Chrismas Carols, Visitations, Pilgrimage, Seminar, Retreat and Senior Farewell parties.

All cost and facilities for activities, including transportations have been provided by MUCH administration.  Every activity has been proposed with complete paperworks and applications for facility assistance were made through the official Student Affairs channel of MUCH.  This has expedited the program execution and the applied assistance which ensured a smooth running program.

The first president of CSA was Dominic M. Lansing (Dip. in Pharmacy, batch 200603) and the vicepresident was Eddly Adrian Arbah (Dip in Physiotherapy batch 200603) for the session 2006-2008.  They have started an organized system, introduced and established a proper management and implementation system within CSA, which has served as guide and reference to the successors.

Fredolin Majin (Dip. in Healthcare batch 200703) was the second president and the vice president was Michelle Wong (Dip. in MLT batch 200603) for the session 2008-2009.  They brought changes in CSA with the inclusion of students from Peninsular Malaysia in the membership. They brought new changes with the formation of CSA Prayer of Humble Service by Zakeus Peter and the introduction of CSA official logo which is used till today.
